Internet Service
We have free internet service available for our guests. There is only one computer so please be concise when checking email and updating trail journals so that others can have access to it. The computer will NOT be available when the house is not staffed, so please make arrangements to do so during the day when staff is around.
Mail Drop
Mail drop service is free for guests of Shaw's and $5.00 for all others.
Please address packages to yourself, c/o Shaw's Lodging at either 17 Pleasant Street OR PO Box 72 in Monson, ME 04464.
Be sure to have your name clearly marked on the package so that we might be able to easily check it in and retrieve it when you arrive in Monson. If you intend to use our mail drop service, please notify us of a general time frame for your arrival via email or phone. Thanks!

Shaw's Lodging "On the Edge of the Hundred Mile Wilderness" is OPEN FOR BUSINESS!!
The sun has come out, the black flies are swarming the trails, and the hikers have started appearing in Monson, Maine. Here at Shaw's we have shaken the rust off after a long winter and a dreary spring. Our rooms are ready for a cool rest, the griddle is warm for cooking our famous breakfast, and our staff is waiting to welcome you for much needed R & R as you enter or exit the great 100 Mile Wilderness.
