Supplies
We have a small store on the premises of Shaw's
Lodging which carries many of your hiking needs. Some items include
maps, guide books, fuel, stoves, water tablets, water bottles, insect
repellants, liners, trekking poles, and socks. We also carry t-shirts,
caps and post cards.
If you require a specific type of fuel, please let us know and we can be sure to have some on-site when you arrive in Monson.
There
is limited re-stocking of food and dry goods in Monson. Transportation
to near-by Greenville for banking, grocery, and outfitter needs can be
arranged by speaking with Shaw's staff upon arrival.

Shaw's Lodging "On the Edge of the Hundred Mile Wilderness" is OPEN FOR BUSINESS!!
The sun has come out, the black flies are swarming the trails, and the hikers have started appearing in Monson, Maine. Here at Shaw's we have shaken the rust off after a long winter and a dreary spring. Our rooms are ready for a cool rest, the griddle is warm for cooking our famous breakfast, and our staff is waiting to welcome you for much needed R & R as you enter or exit the great 100 Mile Wilderness.
