Shaw's will continue to offer parking for $1.00 per day and we will have shuttle service.
Shuttle Service:
Shuttle service will run pretty much anywhere you need to go and rates will be based mostly upon mileage one way to your destination. Common shuttles include transportation from Monson to:
Gulf Hagas
Barren Mountain
Marble Brook
Caratunk
Stratton
Rangeley
Bangor (for bus/plane transportation)

Shaw's Lodging "On the Edge of the Hundred Mile Wilderness" is OPEN FOR BUSINESS!!
The sun has come out, the black flies are swarming the trails, and the hikers have started appearing in Monson, Maine. Here at Shaw's we have shaken the rust off after a long winter and a dreary spring. Our rooms are ready for a cool rest, the griddle is warm for cooking our famous breakfast, and our staff is waiting to welcome you for much needed R & R as you enter or exit the great 100 Mile Wilderness.
